Lübeck ist ohne Zweifel eine der schönsten Städte Deutschlands. Die mittelalterliche Altstadt – malerisch auf einer Insel in der Trave gelegen – wurde 1987 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe erklärt. Die engen Gassen, die sieben Kirchtürme, die alten Kaufmannshäuser und die hanseatische Atmosphäre machen die Altstadt zu einem faszinierenden Ort.
Lübeck is without question one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. The medieval city center - picturesquely situated on an island in the river Trave - was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. The narrow streets, the seven church towers, the old merchants' houses and the Hanseatic atmosphere make the old town a fascinating place.
